CBC Kids

We at Calvary Baptist Church have a desire to see all the children grow into young men and women who deeply love Jesus Christ. As that is our desire, we have put into place opportunities for them to learn truths about God’s character and the work done in and through the cross. Here are a few of those opportunities:

Opportunities for Children

SELECT YOUR INTEREST:

Calvary offers infant and toddler care during our Sunday morning worship hour.

Your child’s care and safety are of top priority for our church. Our nursery workers are responsible and helpful individuals who have completed a background check. Additionally, we ensure that there are at least two adults in that space every week.

All children are to be checked in with our Planning Center Check-In System located in the front lobby on your way in and checked out with a volunteer in the room at pick up.

During our services, we invite all children in grades K-5 to our Jr. Church. This is our Sunday School time for our elementary-aged children. Teachers serve on a rotational basis and have passed a background check.

We utilize Awana’s weekend curriculum, Brite, during this time. All elementary-aged children are to be checked in with our Planning Center Check-In System located in the front lobby on your way in and checked out with a volunteer in the classroom at pick up.

At Calvary, elementary-aged children take part in discipleship and Bible lessons on Sunday evenings at 5:00pm. We call this group our CBC Transformers, based off Romans 12:2, where believers are told “do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.”

We utilize the Gospel Project curriculum. This is for 1st through 5th grade children. Students take part in music/worship, a Bible story, small group time, and games each week. Additionally, these students work on memorizing a key Bible verse(s) for each unit. We strive to incorporate at least one service project every semester too.
